A Murder Most Unladylike

By Robin Stevens

 Book Review

When Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong set up A SECRET DETECTIVE AGENCY at Deepdean School for Girls, they struggle to find any real crimes to investigate.

(Unless you count the case of Lavinia's missing tie. Which they don't.)

Then Hazel  discovers the corpse of Miss Bell. And when she and Daisy return five minutes later, THE BODY HAS DISAPPEARED.

Not only do they have a murder to solve-they must PROVE ONE HAPPENED IN THE FIRST PLACE...

A Pinch of Magic by Michelle Harison
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pinch-Magic-Michelle-Harrison/dp/1471124290
Recommendation:8/10

Characters: The 3 main characters are Charlie, Betty and Felicity.
My favourite is Betty because she is daring.

Plot: Betty and Charlie sneak off to the Halloween fair without their Grandma knowing on a ferry. It gets so foggy they can't see and Grandma appears and takes them back. It turns out they're under a powerful peice of magic that could get them killed.

Likes and Dislikes: I really like this book because it is full of adventure and magic but I dislike the way Betty acts when she finds out about it.

Five on Treasure Island

Five on Treasure Island
Author:Enid Blyton

Rating: 9/10

Characters

There's a lot of characters in this book but only five main ones. This includes: Julian, Georgina more commonly known as George, Anne, Dick, Timmy. My favourite character is Julian because he is brave and a good leader.

Plot

The three best friends can't go on holiday with their parents but Uncle Quentin their Dad's brother and his wife are happy for them to stay. It takes a while but they  become best of friends. George's secret dog is brilliant company on their adventure to Kirin Island where George and her new friends find hidden treasure.

Likes and Dislikes

I really like it when they find the map on George's Great Grandfather's ship because it feels like there is nothing there until they find the box. I don't like the fact George hides Timmy from her parents.

Book Reviews are brilliant ways to share the books you've read. Anyone can write one and they're simple to do. You can print templates out from online, make one from a computer or even hand draw one but you need to remember always include the title and author of the book.
